By downloading, installing, or using HankRing ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
HankRing is a community-driven mobile application that helps users discover restaurants, bars, and stores that serve specific foods and drinks across 50+ curated categories. Users can add spots, rate and verify listings, log offerings, plan visits, and contribute to the community guide.
To contribute content (add spots, rate, vote on verifications, submit feedback), you must create an account using Sign in with Apple or email/password authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
When you create an account with email, a verification email will be sent to confirm your address. Passwords must be at least 8 characters and include both a letter and a number.
By submitting content to HankRing (including spot listings, ratings, verification votes, offerings, closure reports, custom categories, beta feedback, and wish list entries), you:

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or that we determine to be inappropriate. Spots that receive multiple reports may be hidden from public view. Offerings and custom categories are filtered for objectionable content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these terms.
Business owners may request verification of their spot listings. Owner Verified status is granted at our discretion and may be revoked at any time. Verified owners may update their spot information, including brands, details, and reservation links. Owners are prohibited from rating or verifying their own venues.
The app collects crash reports and diagnostic data to identify and fix bugs. This data includes device model, operating system version, app version, and an account identifier for debugging purposes. Diagnostic data is processed by Firebase Crashlytics and is used solely for improving app stability. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile section of the app. Account deletion permanently removes your personal data, including your profile, reviews, ratings, verification votes, closure reports, wish list entries, beta feedback, custom categories, and all associated data from our systems. This action cannot be undone.
HankRing is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any user-submitted content, including business listings, reviews, and verification votes. Always verify business information independently before visiting.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Duxhenge Consulting LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
You must be at least 21 years old to use HankRing, as the app includes content related to alcoholic beverages (cocktails, spirits, craft beer, and more).
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
