A Hank is a craving. A specific dish or drink you are seeking. The Ring is the community that shares your passion for food discovery. HankRing connects your cravings to real places where they are tasted and rated by people who care as much as you do.

Pick your Hank (up to 3 for Power Users) from the Top 50 categories plus additional Trending categories (added by Power Users) including birria, natural wine, Nashville hot chicken, and more. Your Hanks drive the search and they are ranked by popularity.
Find venues (spots) near you or far away. The map and list search results show spots potentially offering your Hanks. Search results are categorized as Verified (community-confirmed), Likely (menu-matched), and Potential (not yet checked). Power Users can find additional potential spots with a deeper search and tune the search terms.
Click on the spots found by searching. Add spots the Ring hasn't found yet by rating the Hank there. Your local knowledge is what makes this so much more useful than a web search. Power Users can add offerings for each Hank e.g. types of mezcal or styles of flan.
User ratings help the best places rise. Rate the Hanks others have found to build consensus ratings. Help others find the best spots for their Hank.
My Journal tracks every rating and verification you make. Search by name, filter by category, and see all your finds on a map. Power Users can use the Journal as a food trip planner.
Your picks light up the map with color-coded pins. Toggle between Verified, Likely, and Potential. Tap "Search This Area" after you move to a new location.
Spots tab shows Verified community spots and search results in a list. Filter by pin type, search by venue name, or browse by category. Toggle back and forth with the map view.
Anyone can add a spot. Anyone can verify it. Individual ratings build consensus.
The Top 50 are just the start. Trending Hanks can join the Top 50 when users agree.
